Tournament Rules
- All participants must be 18 years of age or older unless fishing with a parent or guardian.
- There will be a limit of 50 professional anglers.
- The tournament format will be one pro-angler paired with one celebrity and one sponsor. The pro-angler will have full control of the boat throughout the tournament, will fish with the other anglers as a team and they will weigh all of their fish for one team weight.
- All bass must be caught alive and in a conventional sporting manner. Only artificial lures may be used with the exception of pork trailers. Trolling as a method of fishing is prohibited.
- Landing nets to land fish are allowed. Gaffs or grippers are not allowed.
- Contestantsmay fish anywhere accessible by boat, except areas designated off-limits by federal, state or local officials. All anglingmust be done from the boat. At no time may contestants leave the boat to land a fish or make the boat more accessible to fishing waters.
- A life vest must be worn whenever the main combustion engine is running.
- Electric trolling motors and rowing and combustion engine propulsion methods are allowed.
- The pounds and ounces of each team will determine scoring. Largemouth and small mouth bass are the only accepted species. The limit shall be 5 fish per boat.
- Four ounces will be deducted from the total weight for each unreleasible bass weighed in. The official minimum length for bass shall be 12 inches unless local or state regulations require otherwise.
- In case of ties, positions will be determined by this sequence: number of fish alive, total number of fish, and then coin toss.
TOURNAMENT NOTES
· The pro angler is in charge of the boat and will make the decisions of where to fish and what fish to keep for the weigh-in.
· The tournament is competitive however what is most important is to have fun and be safe.
